I dropped my shield.

The stars were all around me and I had to prepare to receive it on board. It was astonishing! The vacuum, the stars, the silence… the battle was far behind me and I was the one sent to receive it. I could barely believe my luck and I felt honoured.

The small  capsule approached my shuttle and made a hesitant stop right before the hatch. My heart was beating fast, my eyes wanted to jump out of their sockets to see… What was it? How could it be so powerful? What secret did it hold that made the most powerful lords of the galaxy fear it?

Slowly I opened the hatch and waited. The capsule turned around and seemed to move away from the shuttle. I couldn’t let that happen! I was the one, I had been chosen to retrieve it and bring it back. I started to come out and tried to grab it… what?!

Hmmmm… why are the shields down? My new capsule is much bigger, Yay! Wow, I have arms and legs now, but what is that strange feeling in my middle part? What does this creature do? Oh… So flesh and blood smell a lot more than metal and glass… oh well! On to the next galaxy, weeeee!
